John 9:4 NLT

4 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us.The night is coming, and then no one can work.

  • There is work to do!
  • There is a time we can do things.
  • Before you is massive opportunity. But there is a day coming when you will not be able to do certain things.
  • Sometimes the gifting is put on hold because we’re waiting for it to happen our way.
  • But sometimes our gifting is just another ingredient that is needed to “bake the cake” we all want to eat.
  • Your gifting is not off on its own so it can only be enjoyed in its isolation. All of us were built to work together.
  • Every one of us has something we bring to the table that makes what each of us has look even better.
  • At one time I was the student; then I became a teacher. At one time I was a son; then I became a father — even though I’m still a son.
  • Things change. Even though we carry the same gifting, the way we do that gifting may need to change.
  • Every one of us is moving toward our destiny.
  • While you’re here, you have something to contribute!
  • 52 weeks are in a year. 168 hours in a week. Most of us spend 45-60 hours working at something. We sleep 6-8 hours every night. We spend 2-3 hours eating (plus transportation) every day.
  • Approx. 122 hours just doing necessities — that’s without talking about looking after the family, doing the laundry, cleaning the house!
  • Approx. 2 hours a day travel – that’s another 14 hours a week.
  • 6-9 hours at a church like this every week.
  • And we haven’t even spent time with God yet!
  • How easy it is for time to slip on by. How easy it is for one decision after another to cause time to be robbed from us.
  • I’m trying to free you from the thief that wants to steal your time!
  • You’re going to get the most out of your year!
  • What did somebody else not do that they were supposed to do that you now have to do, so that it is now eating into your week?
  • You have the same time as everybody else. If you forget to do what you are supposed to do and you make someone else do it, you have robbed that person of time!
  • What is taking your time?
  • How long do you spend on Facebook?
  • How long do you watch Netflix?
  • For the gamers — how much productivity is being robbed of you every week because you’re “gaming”?
  • And then the next day, you’re tired — robbing your workplace of your time.
  • “I had to go eat with everybody after service — and I ate till one o’clock in the morning!” But you have to get up at 6 am to do your “3.5-minute devotions”! Because you have to stay strong in the Lord!
  • “This year is going to be a completely different year!”
  • This is a kairos moment! You’re going to have to utilize every moment — hour by hour by hour!
  • You’re going to have to change a few things!
  • “I spent time with the Lord till 4 am” — but you’re supposed to get up at 6 am!
  • You can only do that so long. That’s not the Lord keeping you up — it’s your pursuit of God keeping you up.
  • If you listen to the Lord, He’ll tell you at 11:25 pm: “That’s enough — get to bed and sleep, and I’ll talk to you through the night.”
  • Why? Because God is not a thief, and He will not have you rob from your employer because you were spending time with Him! He cannot be anything but productive!
  • This year we’re going to see things happen like no other year!
  • I want you to start doing the math of the hours every week that you do whatever you do — to see what you actually do! Keep tally of what you are doing. Keep working at it!

“I believe this year will be constructive!

This year will be productive!

This year I will see things happen!

I believe for the right opportunity,
for the right doors,

I take authority over the thieves of time, money, effort
in the Name of Jesus!

This year I’m going to sow so I can reap!

I’m going to sow on time — I’m going to reap on time!

This year I’m going to see manifestation of my effort!

This year I’m going to see every hour
I spend for God yield and produce!”

  • In the natural, you would not make an investment that wouldn’t give you a return.
  • We are living in very precarious, unstable days.
  • You’ve got to believe this year that what you’re doing is what God has you doing!
  • If you have a gifting, we need it. Stop holding out and bring your gifting, and let’s build this together.
  • Spend your time wisely, helping and encouraging people. If you’re good at something, replicate yourself. Let others buy in to and partake of what God has gifted you with.
  • That’s how Millennial (our local church) is going to become stronger — by every one of us bringing who we are and what we know to be beneficial to the table!
  • This year I want you to look at what you do and how you do it. Look at the productivity. Look in every area — spirit, soul, and body; relationally, emotionally, and physically.
  • Take stock of the hours you spend with the Lord, at prayer meetings, at church.
  • Be mindful of the time you spend working.
  • Do what you know to do. Be what you are.
  • Whatever you’re supposed to do, you must do it with all your heart, mind, soul. You must not give anything to “flat-lining.”
  • I’ve been making conscious decisions lately so that productivity becomes a reality.
  • I want to plant this as a seed in your heart that will grow to a massive tree and hold you in adversity — cause you to think beyond the moment.
  • And when somebody requires your time, you’re going to hold your time precious. Not that you don’t want to give your time, but you’re going to have to know it’s God.
  • The faith world created a world where people never stop. It’s conference after conference — high demand with low output. And that’s just the Church world!
  • I’m believing for productivity like never before! That every aspect of your life begins to flourish!
  • Stop just having a little devotion with God, and start working with God. He wants to work with you, and He’s already moving. All you do is hook up with Him and get with the Plan!
  • Sometimes it takes time to process and articulate and understand what it is that God is actually doing. We live such busy lives. We try to fit that in somewhere and then hope the rest makes sense!
  • We’re going to invite God into every aspect of our lives and into every hour of our day!
  • You don’t just spend time with God and then go to work. That’s not how it works! To the Jew, work is worship. It’s part of what we do unto God.
  • 168 hours are waiting for you — 52 times this year. What are you going to do with it?
  • One of the greatest thieves of time we have to manage is getting so caught up in what everybody else is doing that we do nothing ourselves.
  • “It changes now!”
  • If you can do two hours on Facebook, you can do two hours on your face!
  • If you’ll stop looking at what people are doing and start looking at what God is doing — people will start looking at what you are doing!
  • Time gets more precious every year that you live. And for those who are 50+, it’s time to get with it!
  • Every time the dirt was piled on the donkey, the donkey said, “Thanks for the dirt! It just made me another step!”
  • “I’m climbing out of this hellhole!” You’re not supposed to be in a hole! And the Holy Spirit gets in the hole with you and works with you so you can get out of that hole.
  • The next time dirt wants to fall on top of you, just shake it off and say, “It’s time to build me another step!”
  • Or if you’re the elephant and somebody tied a rope around your ankle at a stage in your life when that’s what could hold you — you’re not there anymore, and you will never be there again.
  • You’re getting bigger, better stronger! You’re not going to take the junk you used to take!
  • This year we’re going to start seeing some things you’re really made of! But it will need your participation!
  • It’s going to have to be a year of mobilization! Of activation! Of watching yourself and counting all cost! Not that you’re not willing to pay the price — but you must get a revelation of the value!
  • Value system is going to be high this year! Because some things are about to unfold; some things are about to mature! Some things are about to happen!
  • Whatever the enemy means for bad, God is going to turn for good!

THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT!

I declare it over you:

You’re going to sleep well.

You’re going to sleep right.

You’re going to get full nights’ sleep.

You’re going to waken refreshed every morning.

You’re going to get back in the driver’s seat of life!

You’re going to get back in control of certain things!

You’re going to start getting back on top of your life!

God wants you to be the head and not the tail —
above only and not beneath!

“I believe for the right opportunities to come my way!

I shall know what it is I’m supposed to do,

when I’m supposed to do it, and whom I’m supposed to do it with!

This year is going to be the most productive year of my life!

I take authority over distractions and emotional upheaval in the Name of Jesus!

I am more than a conqueror — more than a conqueror!”

Dressed for battle!

Take your life — lay hold of it!

Don’t let it slip you by!

Make every day count!

Make every hour amount to something.

And let’s see this year become what it’s destined to be!
