The Kairos Moment

The Kairos Moment

November 12, 2022 Service Summary 0

Pastor Paul:

Say this with me:
“I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord!
I shall live to a ripe old age in my right mind!
Seated and clothed and in my right mind!
I shall have full use of my body —
physically, mentally, vocally!

My organs shall not die in me!
My organs shall live within me in the Name of Jesus!
My heart, my lungs, my kidneys!
Every part of me shall live
and shall carry me till the end! Strong!
Supporting me in the efforts of my life.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s
in Jesus’ precious Name!
I believe that my bones are strong.
That they are moistened, saturated!”

I take authority over bone issues!
Bone issues, sort.
Rheumatoid arthritis, leave!

Twisted spirits, leave!
Spirits of bitterness, leave!

Spirit of infirmity, go! You must go!

’m not tolerating this!

  • Say this: “I’m just not going to take what Satan has to bring my way any longer! I release what God has already given me in Jesus’ precious Name!”
  • I heard this from the Lord: As you think in your heart, that’s the way it’s going to be.
  • “I take the goodness of God!”

Ecclesiastes 2:26 AMPC

26 For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up, that he may give to one who pleases God….

  • What is it that pleases God? Faith.
  • That’s what Scripture says. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him.
  • I believe we are people of faith. Some of you have spent many years listening to messages of faith.
  • To every one of us was given a measure of faith. A lot of us chose to take that measure and begin to grow it.
  • To not only be a hearer, but a doer of what we hear — that is where we see the power of Heaven released!
  • One of the most powerful things you can do in a service setting is to not “dull out” when you hear something you’ve heard before — but to set yourself to listen for what you need to hear one more time.
  • Sometimes God will be very repetitive and bring something many times so we can get the most out of what it is He desires to have happen in our lives.
  • “God has given me wisdom and knowledge and joy!”
  • “…To the sinner He gives the work of gathering and heaping up [“That’s not me!”], that he may give to one who pleases God.” [“That’s me!”]
  • We’re believing for wealth transfers this year!
  • I believe things are about to shift.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 AMPC

1 To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, 3 A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up, 4 A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,  5 A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,  6 A time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away, 7 A time to rend and a time to sew, a time to keep silence and a time to speak,  8 A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

  • I’m very mindful of the times. And I’m very mindful of the time we’ve entered in to.
  • To say we’re in a transition of time — it’s a very natural thing. Spiritual is outside of time.
  • Spiritually we are not transitioning. Jesus was the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
  • We’re not transitioning spiritually; we are transitioning naturally.
  • So when you hear us in the Church world say that we are in a period of transition, it’s purely natural. It’s us getting in sync with what has happened spiritually.
  • It’s not that the Church is transitioning in the Spirit; there it’s all done; it’s all sorted.
  • It’s us working with the Spirit of God, moving and transitioning right along into the fullness of God’s plan for the Church and for the fullness of the Church Age.
  • We now have come to 2,000 years of the fullness of the Church Age. We’re now in the period called “the end of days.”
  • In this sliver of time, we’re going to see things work out.
  • One of the things the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me several weeks ago as I was coming to minister at 47NINE on a Friday night was that we have entered in to a kairos moment.
  • A lot of people think a kairos moment is an absolute. “This is God, and it’s going to happen!”
  • A kairos moment is not an absolute. It is a time or opportunity for one or more to lay hold of or to seize.
  • I’ve also learned this over the years: Not every opportunity presented to you is the right opportunity for you.
  • Therefore, led by the wisdom of God and the joy that has been placed in our hearts, we can know the times. We can know what is for us and what must be laid hold of at the right time.
  • Ecclesiastes 3 is so powerful in context of a kairos moment.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 MSG

1 There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth.

  • Like what the Spirit of God has said to us over this last period of time… There is something in this time, an opportunity presented to the Body of Christ to do such-and-such.
  • What does that look like? As we stand at the beginning of January as a work, as a family, what does that look like?
  • Are you looking for opportunity — or is opportunity looking for you?
  • Are you full-on, full-speed looking for something? Or are you working with the wisdom of God and the joy of the Lord, knowing that we can trust Him and that He will lead and guide us and let us know what is for us?
  • This is what I’m doing. Lots of opportunities want to present themselves to us. And a lot of them sound like wonderful things to do.
  • I’m certainly not waiting for offers. So therefore I have to set myself in God to know what it is that I must do.
  • Sometimes when you’re stuck for things to do, you’ll just grab the first thing that comes along.
  • I would exercise caution right there. Don’t fall for the first thing that comes along. Push in to God and believe that you hear His voice!
  • The wisdom of God has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit.
  • No two days are going to be the same. Each day brings its own.
  • But I can tell you what is the same — Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • We can trust Him. He never changes.
  • The things Jesus said yesterday are the same things He’s still saying today.
  • What is it that He said to you, and how did He say it?
  • What is it as you go into this new year that you are embarking upon?
  • What is it that you have already set your heart on?
  • Have you set your ear to hear? Have you set your heart to respond to what you hear?
  • Have you already settled in God that, no matter what He asks you to do, you are going to do it?
  • Have you laid hold of this kairos moment to say, “Whatever this is in this time, I receive what You have for me as an opportunity for destiny”?
  • This is what I’m working at — and this is what I’m working at for you.
  • This is just a word of wisdom: Don’t jump at just anything that comes down the path. Be strong in God, and hear His voice, and be led by the Spirit of God.
  • God will help you not take all those detours. He will help you stick to the path that grows brighter and brighter.
